But you might also like to know something else, even though you are familiar with a coaching process itself. What is coaching?
Coaching is an ongoing and thought-provoking conversation between you as a client and me as a coach. We’ll create a trusting and resonant equally creative process that inspires you to fully engage in your personal and professional potential. In the sessions you will tell me about the challenges in your life, I’ll ask you questions and reflect back, and together, we move towards your desired outcome.
What do you do as a Coach?
I am a life, leadership and relocation coach and I am dedicated to listening, asking questions, and helping you to gain clarity in the challenges you are facing. As a Co-Active coach, I believe you are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. You’re not broken so you don’t need to be fixed. Unlike therapy, coaching isn’t about fixing or healing you; it’s about helping you to grow into your inner certainty.
What topics can I bring to Coaching?
Whether you already have a topic in mind, or have no idea what you would like to talk about but know you want to be coached on something, we can have a meaningful conversation.
You might have had one of these questions or feelings:
I feel blocked and/or in a rut and can’t move forward
Since I've had kids I can’t see my place in life anymore, I feel limited in perspective and role
I am struggling with a specific topic, or I don’t know why I am struggling so much
I am looking for my life purpose and I don’t feel fulfilled
I need to make decisions but I can’t make them alone
Whatever your thoughts might be on needing help on certain questions, we can figure it out. Together.
What can't a life Coach do?
I am here to help with whatever your thoughts might be on needing help or a certain question. We an always figure out together. However, there are things, a life Coach can not help you with:
Past traumas: If you are grappling with past issues or need to work through some trauma, then a life coach will not be able to help you with these difficult problems.
Mental illness: If you struggle with mental illness, a therapist may be better equipped to help you. Unlike life coaches, they can provide you with the support you need to address your specific issue to. A life coach however is not a psychologist or psychiatric professional.
Needing a friend: A life coach is here to present you with a structure to help guide your life decisions so you can achieve your goals. If you’re looking for someone to provide you with a personal opinions, suggestions or advice, then a life coach may not be for you the right choice.
What is a coaching session like?
We start with a first free chemistry session of about 30 min., where you will decide if you would like to work with me.
Following that we will either have a 90 minute Discovery Session, in the packages purchased, or we are having the " normal" 50 minutes session together.
In the discovery session we will dive into your life holistically, with areas such as career, personal development and circumstances. We will also discuss your values and motivation for the coaching as well as your goals to have a solid ground to explore from. In the shorter sessions, we will look at chunks from all of this in order to accomplish a bigger picture of you and your life.
What you will get from coaching?
What you get is a space to explore your life, desire and perspectives. You get a chance to have accountability and support. Your investment is, to have someone hear you fully, get curious with you, helping and support you in determining your vision & goals and pushing you to reach them.
